| She even likes the brown, dormant Bermuda lawn (at right). She prunes back the climbing roses so winter light can flow onto the patio, where the twisted seed stalks of tall agapanthus remind that its winter. Stacked pots (below) wait for summer flowers near the garden shed. Being in California, not everything is dormant of course, including this agave in an old Bauer pot (below, far right).
